And for that matter, while we are asking, what does Emily Dickinson have to do with it?—You know she does) The physics and chemistry of leadership . . . on which, like a red wheel barrow next to a white chicken in the rain, so much depends . . . .

Yes, poetry is powerful. Mary Oliver’s poem “Wage Peace” is a favorite of mine, as are many of Pablo Neruda’s poems. We have included a poem of yours (Barbara) at the Peace Lantern Ceremony the last two years. We hope that you will be able to attend our 10th Hiroshima-Nagasaki Remembrance Day gathering on August 9th (a Saturday) at Lovers Pt., PG and share another poem and thoughts….Judy K., Monterey
